Go For Grammar Gold
This site is a little temperamental, but it will work on DOL skills as well.
Grammar Practice Park
An excellent way to brush up those DOL (Daily Oral Language) skills.
IXL Math
This site allows the students to practice all the math skills that we have and will cover in class.
Math Brain
This site gives practice on more complicated computation. I suggest entering at level 3-4 for grade level practice. Levels 5-6 will be more challenging, and levels 7-8 are extremely advanced because they add decimals.
Math Magician
This allows students to practice their basic math facts for all operations. If they enter their names, they can also print out a graduation certificate for each fact family that they master.
Moon Journal Help II
This site will also help with the moon journal on nights when the moon is not visible or when it rises after bedtime.
Mrs. M's Portaportal
This site links several other useful websites that allow students to practice the same Science and Social Studies skills that we cover in class.
Multiflyer
This is a great way to practice multiplication facts for all or isolated fact familes.
RAZ-kids
Students are able to earn points by reading books on their independent level. More points are earned by passing quizzes on these books.
Reading Skills Rocket
This site practices basic comprehension, but it is not good for self-checking.
