It's school time again!  I am very happy to have your children here at TJ.  I believe that by all of us working together we can make this a very successful year.  I consider it of prime importance that you be an active part of your child's education. 

I have an open door policy and you are invited to phone me or visit the school at any time.  At TJ, we are always looking for volunteers.  If you have expertise in a specific field, a hobby, or have time to eat lunch with us, please join in and support our community of learners. 

As you are aware, TJ passed all of our SOL's.  Thank you to our staff, students, and parents in promoting academic success.  TJ did not make AYP this year.  We are working with our staff in setting specific goals and focusing on strategies in targeting areas of weaknesses.  Please join us at our Principals' Coffee to hear strategic plans for raising student achievement for all students. 

I consider it a great privilege and responsibility to be your child's assistant principal and I look forward to meeting you this school year.
